Wanda Adams Fischer
About The Author
Following a 45-plus-year career in public relations/marketing/media relations, Wanda decided to write a novel. Since she'd originally wanted to be a sportswriter when she was in high school, her first foray into fiction, "Empty Seats," focused on her love of baseball. Since then, she's been creating short stories and has self-published two more novels.
She's also a singer/songwriter and has hosted a folk music show on the Albany, NY-based NPR station since 1982. She's recorded one CD and sings for various occasions. In 2019, Folk Alliance International inducted her into its Folk Radio Hall of Fame. She's also a member of the Thomas Edison Hall of Fame, recognizing her involvement in the music scene of New York's Capital Region.
In 2012, she served for one day as the public address announcer for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Guess which team is her favorite in Major League Baseball...
