Writing Contest Guidelines

General Guidelines:

  1. Submission Deadline: All entries must be received by June 30, 2026

  2. Word Limit:

    • Fiction & Nonfiction: Maximum 150,000 words.

    • Children’s Books: Maximum 100,000 words.

    • Poetry: No Maximum.

  3. Original Work: All submissions must be original, published, or unpublished works are accepted. There are no requirements for the publishing date.

  4. Language: All entries must be written in English.

  5. Format: Submit entries in PDF or Word format.

  6. Entry Fee: Look above. 

  7. Multiple Entries: You may submit multiple books. 

  8. Judging: Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, and writing quality.

Category-Specific Guidelines:

  • Fiction: All genres are welcome. 

  • Nonfiction: All genres are welcome. 

  • Children's Books: Stories suitable for readers aged 3-12. All genres are welcome. 

  • Poetry: Open to all styles and forms. Poems should express unique perspectives, emotions, or experiences in a concise and evocative way.
