Nenia writes young adult novels that highlight the issues young women deal with throughout their lives that are often not talked about, or considered taboo. From dating violence to self-esteem issues, Nenia aims to provide a voice to these topics so those experience them don't feel alone.

Nenia has ten years of experience as a police officer and is also a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault. She uses her training and personal experience to write realistic fiction novels young women can empower themselves with.

Nenia lives in New Hampshire with her husband, two children, and three goofy dogs. In addition to writing her own novels, she is a freelance developmental editor for fiction manuscripts.
