Annette Austin is a self-published and short story author. She has written eight novels covering the genres of historical romance, contemporary romance, science fiction and crime fiction. Her first novel, ‘The Fall of the House of James,’ spent some time at the Number 1 spot on Amazon (History of Antebellum U.S. Chart.) Five of the books in The James Saga have garnered five-star reviews on Amazon.

Recently, Annette has begun to write short stories again under her real name. Two of her short stories, ‘The Bondage Tribe,’ and ‘The Well of Life,’ have been published in the Alternate History and Hidden Realms Short Stories Anthologies by Flame Tree Publishing in 2023.

The Devil Within,’ has also received a five-star review on Amazon. She hopes to write more novels in The Ophelia Hanson Series.

Annette has recently published the sixth novel in The James Saga, ‘A Sweet Taste For Revenge.'

She hopes to continue The James Saga in ‘Victory Or Surrender,’

which she will begin to write shortly.

Before embarking on a writing career, Annette predominantly had a career in finance. She started writing her first novel in December 2012, with ‘The Fall of the House of James,’ finally being released in June 2018.

Away from writing, Annette loves to read, exercise, especially yoga, sings loudly to 1980s pop music, and loves watching sports.
