When did you start writing?

It all started when I was invited to join a writers' group in 2018. Did not know I had anything in me, but a spark was lit and it then became a flame.

What makes writing your passion?

The pure enjoyment of writing and putting my ideas on paper. even if they are not as funny as I think they are, if someone reads them and gets a smile on their face - I am happy.

How long have you been writing?

What was the feeling when you published your first book?

Darn - glad that is over - now marketing!

José F. Nodar

What’s the story behind your choice of characters?

I base a lot of my stories on everyday people and of course change the names to protect the innocent (like the old saying goes) but if you purchase one of my products you might just see yourself in the story. My biggest character is my wife - she is in a lot of the stories and all my poetry is geared toward her.

José F. Nodar

How do you get over the “writer’s block”?

My desk is in front of a window overlooking a small park - when nothing seems to be jelling in my mid I look out and someone always gives me and idea but what I love is sitting at the shopping centre and watching people - there are hundred of stories there just waiting to be put on paper.

We all know the writer’s path is never easy, what makes you keep going? What advice would you give to new authors?

Have fun is what I say. You might become a James Patterson or a Margaret Atwood but if you do not be sure you have fun doing what you love.
