When did you start writing?

I wrote my first chapter for a collaborative book in 2018.

What makes writing your passion?

I write the truth and I am passionate about helping people and animals heal from the trauma in their lives. It fills my hear with joy when I hear that I have inspired them to not give up.

How long have you been writing?

I have been writing all my life. As a child I loved to write poetry.

What was the feeling when you published your first book?

When I published my first book back in October of 2021 I was proud of myself that I accomplished a goal I set out to do.

What’s the story behind your choice of characters?

The story behind the choice of the characters in my book are all 100 % real people that have walked with me on my journey of life.

What annoys you the most in pursuing a writing career?

I would have to say the thing that annoys me the most about pursuing a writing career is the time and dedication it takes to initially write the book as well as figuring out the best way to market and sell copies.

How do you get over the “writer’s block”?

I choose to step away from my lap top to get over writes block. I found that if I went to do something that inspired me that would help me get my writers juices flowing again.

We all know the writer’s path is never easy, what makes you keep going? What advice would you give to new authors?

The support in my life is what helped me to keep going. I had an amazing editor/publisher. My advice would be people want to hear your story so please tell it and make sure to get a great editor publisher.

If you could go back in time and talk to your younger self, what would you say?

If I could go back and talk to my younger self I would say "This is all going ot be worth it. Trust me, I realize this doesn't make any sense right now but believe me you will be grateful with the end result.

Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with the bad ones?

Yes I read my book reviews. I have been blessed to not have any bad ones. I have however had people tell me things they did not like about the book. I thank them for sharing their feedback and know that it is an opinion based on where they at at in their lives and I choose not to hang onto it.

What is the feeling when you get a good review?

Gratitude and delight. I am grateful that someone took the time to read my book and delighted that they enjoyed it.

Have you ever incorporated something that happened to you in real life into your novels?

Yes You Do You id 100 % all about me and my life.

Which of your characters you can compare yourself with? Did you base that character on you?

I am the main character in the book. Yes I based it all on me and my life experiences.

What do you think, the book cover is as important as the story?

Yes I think the cover is as important as the story. I had a dear friend take the picture for my book cover.

Do you connect with your readers? Do you mind having a chat with them or you prefer to express yourself through your writing?

Yes I love to connect with my readers.

How do you feel when people appreciate your work or recognize you in public?

I feel honored when people appreciate my work and recognize me in public.

Who is your favorite author? Why?

Inna Segal becasue she speaks from the heart and tells it like it is.

What’s the dream? Whom would you like to be as big as?

The dream is to inspire others to do what they need to do for themselves and know that it is ok to ask for help.

I would like to be as big as Wayne Dyer to have a team that helps me create magic for all those around me.

Would you rewrite any of your books? Why?

No I would not like to rewrite anything because each piece shows where I was at in that point of my journey and the growth I have gone through.

What would you say to the “trolls” on the internet? We all know them – people who like to write awful reviews to books they’ve never read or didn’t like that much, just to annoy the author.

I would say to the trolls that I am sad to see that their lives are filled with such negativity that they have to write bad reviews to help them feel better.

Share a bit about yourself – where do you live, are you married, do you have kids?

I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada
I have been married 22 years and we have a 21 year old son.

What is your day job if you have one?

I am a rehabilitation and wellness practitioner

What are your hobbies? What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I create custom pieces of crystal healing jewelry and spend time connecting with friends.

Did you have a happy childhood?

I had a blessed and happy childhood full of interesting experiences.

Is there a particular experience that made you start writing?

Yes coming back from a massive closed head brain injury in 1992 is what sparked me to start writing so I could show others that yes you can get through difficult times when you make the choice too.

Do you have unpublished books? What are they about?

No I do not have any unpublished books.

What do you think should be improved in the education of our children? What do we lack?

I feel that life skills is what is lacking in the education system. The lack of helping children to learn about budgeting and balancing their accounts is a big area of concern to me.

If you were allowed 3 wishes – what would they be?

If I was allowed 3 wishes
1. That there would never be a person that went to bed hungry again
2. That the abundance of the world was shared equally
3. We could all live harmoniously

What is your favorite music?

I love all kinds of music but would have to say that wood flute and shamanic drum beads are my favorite
