We all know the writer’s path is never easy, what makes you keep going? What advice would you give to new authors?

The multitude of stories in my head pushing me to get them on paper.
For new authors, live life and keep at your computer or tablet whenever you have a free moment.

Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with the bad ones?

Maggie from, Code of Honor, is most like me so far.

Carra Copelin

What do you think, the book cover is as important as the story?

Absolutely. The cover should give the reader a teaser of the book’s story.

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

Do you connect with your readers? Do you mind having a chat with them or you prefer to express yourself through your writing?

I love interacting with readers. It’s the most fun!

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

How do you feel when people appreciate your work or recognize you in public?

Love it! The perks of months spent alone at the computer.

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

Who is your favorite author? Why?

I actually have three. Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown and Linda Lael Miller brought me through some tough times back in the day.

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

What’s the dream? Whom would you like to be as big as?

I really want to be me and have my stories reach readers hearts the way other authors have reached me.

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

Would you rewrite any of your books? Why?

I might rewrite some of my earlier books because hopefully I’ve grown as a writer… but probably not.

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

If you could switch places with any author – who would that be?

Carra Copelin
BooksShelf-Interview-Icon.png

What would you say to the “trolls” on the internet? We all know them – people who like to write awful reviews to books they’ve never read or didn’t like that much, just to annoy the author.

I would never engage with the trolls but if that were to happen, I would wish them love and peace in their lives.

Carra Copelin
