A disgraced angel's descent triggers a spate of ritual killings and a search for an ancient celestial weapon able to change the balance of power in a near future dystopia America.

Gifted seers known as the Chosen with the ability to forewarn prominent future events are being hunted. The authorities remain baffled, their only clue is similar cases from decades past involving the woman Simon sacrificed his wings to protect.
