This an endearing read of a young boy who grew up poor in a village in Malaysia. He studies hard, prays hard, and works hard. Dr Andrew C S Koh shares with the reader his truthful and insightful journey into the life of a doctor. He writes in an easy, engaging, interesting manner that will keep the reader engaged. Dr Koh shares stories about his childhood, education, a career in different towns. He shares his marriage, family, loss of friends, close encounter with paralysis, travels, and his love for the Bible. This book will take you on a roller coaster ride through the turbulent time tunnel from 1952 to 2020, from Tanjong Malim across continents. From the times of pen and paper to telephones and computers, what a truly remarkable time to live in. An enjoyable book, one you will want to curl up with, and keep it to reread during times that you might feel that you are struggling. Dr Koh shares his life with the reader in the hopes that they might also feel joy and comfort from the life and guidance of the Christian religion. I recommend this book as

Dr. Koh's ability to recount his adventures from childhood to the current day is incredible. This book introduced me to cultural life in countries I had no opportunity to explore.
