This was my first Debby Grahl novel and definitely not my last. I picked up Island Heat looking for an escape—and it delivered! The setting aboard a Caribbean cruise was vivid and inviting, and the romance between Suzanna and Austen was red-hot. I enjoyed the murder mystery cruise subplot, which gave the romance a playful backdrop and helped pace the steamy scenes. Some of the drama felt a bit heightened (hello, Haley!), but it kept the pages turning. Highly recommended for fans of sexy, sun-soaked love stories.
