I am an author, travel blogger, award-winning travel writer, scuba diver, and underwater photographer. As a former university lecturer, I believe that education can create positive change and influence generations. There’s nothing I love more than showing kids of all ages the amazing world beneath the waves. As a citizen scientist, I’ve worked on research expeditions all around the world to cage dive with great white sharks, dive alongside endangered dwarf minke whales, and photograph manta rays, whale sharks, and other large pelagic animals for scientific identification. My Ocean Friends Book Series is the result of my many expeditions and experiences. I encourage everyone, especially kids, to participate in citizen science to help preserve our ocean resources. Who knows? Maybe my books will inspire future marine biologists, conservationists, and scientists! I certainly hope so!
