I am an accomplished writer with several historical fiction novels to my credit, including Nazi Saboteurs on the Bayou, an exciting and fast-paced story about the famed steel-ramped Higgins boats; Flights for Freedom, an adventure story about American flyers in WW1; and The Road to War: Duty & Drill, Courage & Capture, a soldier landing at Normandy in WW2.

Avid hiker, Eagle Scout, and founder of a mutual fund, Steven Burgauer resides in Florida. A graduate of Illinois State University and the New York Institute of Finance, Steven writes science fiction and historic fiction.

A member of the Society of Midland Authors and the Military Writers Society of America, Steven is included in The Dictionary of Midwestern Literature, Volume 2: Dimensions of the Midwestern Literary Imagination.
