Phyllis Entis
About The Author
Phyllis Entis is the author of the Damien Dickens Mysteries, a noir-ish series set in the early 1980s and featuring a husband-and-wife team of private investigators. Her most recent release, set in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, is The Silver Star Caper.
Born and raised in Montreal, Phyllis is a free-lance writer and retired food safety microbiologist with degrees from McGill University and the University of Toronto. In 2020, she wrote and published TAINTED: From Farm Gate to Dinner Plate, Fifty Years of Food Safety Failures. Her current writing project is an overview and exposé of the pet food industry.
Phyllis lives in Victoria, British Columbia with her husband and their Australian Cobberdog, Shalom. When she’s not writing, Phyllis usually can be found baking, reading, or enjoying her garden.
