Peter Darman studied for a BA in history and international relations at Nottingham and then for a Master of Philosophy in history at the University of York. After university he worked as a research officer with the Defence Intelligence Staff in Whitehall, London. In the 1990s he worked in the publishing industry as an editor before becoming a full-time writer. He is the author of over 60 books, including 39 fiction titles. He currently lives in Lincolnshire, England.
