Mac Fortner is a Tropical Adventure Author who was born in Evansville, Indiana but was never one to hang around one area too long. He lived for eighteen months in the Philippine islands and a year in Saigon. When he returned to Evansville, he spent time on his boats on the Ohio River.

This only fed his thirst for adventure, and he now lives in Florida three months out of the year with his wife, Cindy. They love spending time traveling the Florida Keys, where his protagonist, Cam Derringer, finds trouble around every turn.

He has been a full-time author since 2012 and now writes overlooking the beach and the Gulf of Mexico but longs for the time when he can call Key West home.
