About The Author
M. C. Clay lives in Alabama with her husband, Doug, their daughter, Kassie, as well as their many pets. She attended The University of Alabama, where she was awarded a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. Prior to following her passion of writing, she worked in the elementary education field. In addition to writing YA Dystopian/Fantasy novels, M. C. Clay enjoys reading books from all genres.

Tilly Drake had worked hard all her life to get what she wanted. She worked two jobs to pay for her nursing school tuition. When she finally graduated, it was as if she was beginning a whole new chapter in her life. She started searching for nursing jobs, but continually came up short.
