I am Dr. Cheryl Gatewood Tolliver, a board-certified pediatrician, author, and educator with over two decades of experience supporting children and families. My journey spans engineering, software development, and medicine. As an author of Mercy and Mary, I explore meaningful stories that connect readers with history and humanity. My passion for storytelling brings me to the world of fiction books about slavery, where courage, resilience, and hope reveal the strength of the human spirit.
