Debra Morgan
About The Author
Acclaimed Author Debra Morgan released her first book, a #1 Amazon best-selling memoir, "Graceful Agony: An Intimate Memoir of Living with Fibro & Chronic Fatigue," in April 2023. In 2024, she published her second book titled "Breaking the Silence: Confronting Guilt and Shame in the Chronic Pain World," aimed at readers suffering from high-impact chronic pain. Debra's new forthcoming release, "FRACTURED: A Deep and Intimate Memoir," chronicles her real-life journey of survival.
The memoir addresses difficult topics such as childhood abuse and trauma stemming from a toxic and unsupportive family dynamic. These experiences led to challenges in adulthood, including addictions, rehabilitation, and her path to recovery. All of her books are available on Amazon and featured on reputable literary websites.
Through her personal experiences, she seeks to offer support and hope to others, sharing her story and voice with the world and reminding readers that they are not alone. For Deb, it was not about being a survivor, but learning to thrive again while easing the path for others facing similar challenges. The author was born and raised in Colorado and lived in Arizona until 2012, when she moved to Oregon. Meanwhile, missing her grown children and grandchildren, she moved back to Arizona in 2022.
Deb has been featured as a guest on many podcasts and radio shows, sharing her recovery journey while raising awareness about addiction, and has successfully maintained her sobriety since 1993. She has been happily married to her soulmate for over 30 years. She is a mother of two grown, successful children. When she is not writing, she enjoys reading, painting, and traveling. However, her "happy place" is spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Deb and her husband continue to reside in Chandler, Arizona.
