Description

Like most people, Alida has contemplated one of life’s biggest mysteries: What happens to your soul when you die? What if it is stolen by a cruel demon, and your eternity’s resting place becomes an empty locker in a secret cavern? What if the Biblical hell was a real place, where real people suffered unspeakably? It is real, and it’s a horrifying place, where the souls of good people are imprisoned with no hope for escape or rescue ... until Alida appears.

Putting her life in jeopardy, Alida battles a wicked demon and even the devil to win the right to free the souls and return them to their own graves, where they can rest in peace.

The Devil, Angels, and Demons is a story of love and hate, friends and enemies, religion and history, and the eternal battle between good and evil. It tells the story of a lost woman who changes her life when she saves the souls of good people being imprisoned by the demon for his own narcissistic pleasure. What she experiences in the process will change her life forever.

Reviews Of The Book On BooksShelf

Really engaging premise and a strong sense of forward motion, especially once the mystery behind the trapped souls starts unfolding. A couple of sections felt a touch explanatory for my taste, but overall it’s an entertaining supernatural read with a satisfying atmosphere and stakes.

average rating is 4.1 out of 5

Fast-paced, creepy in the best way, and surprisingly heartfelt when it needs to be. The mix of demons, angels, and the afterlife angle gives the plot momentum, and the “help me” moment early on pulled me right in.

average rating is 4.5 out of 5

This one has a great hook and it commits to it. I liked Alida as a lead because she feels human and reactive, and the supernatural elements build with enough detail to feel believable inside the book’s rules.

average rating is 4.7 out of 5

I went in expecting a paranormal thriller, and I loved how it blends eerie mystery with real emotional stakes. The concept of trapped souls and the hidden “locker” space is genuinely unsettling, and the story keeps escalating in a way that made it hard to stop reading.
