When did you start writing?

I started writing in 2007 but stopped off and on for many years for many reasons and things to overcome. I started this book then and took me this long to get it off the ground.

What makes writing your passion?

It's a way to get out of my own head. It's a way to get through the hurdles and just be creative while at the same time teaching hidden lessons.

How long have you been writing?

Off and on since 2007.

What was the feeling when you published your first book?

It was awesome. No one ever thought I could do something like this but I have been proving people wrong my entire life. I believe in myself but realize I can always be better. This was a huge step in that.

What’s the story behind your choice of characters?

Well, I have had a challenging life and have known many others that have had other struggles. SO I wanted to create a book that got inside people's heads to see more than black and white. My characters have all kinds of grey LOL. It's all about contradictions.

What annoys you the most in pursuing a writing career?

My own learning disability of being dyslexic and having ADHD.

Glenn Goodwin

How do you get over the “writer’s block”?

I work out and listen to music and hit the heavy bag.

Glenn Goodwin

We all know the writer’s path is never easy, what makes you keep going? What advice would you give to new authors?

I have always been one to go against the grain of what people say. I am motivated by those that think I can not do something, then I prove them wrong. Be hard, grind, and do not care what negatives come your way because you are accomplishing more than most and they are just saying you can't do it because they cant. Go forward

If you could go back in time and talk to your younger self, what would you say?

You are in for a heck of a roller coaster ride, so be prepared. It is not going to be easy at times. Fight on!
