Tanishq fell in writing at an early age. An avid reader, she grew up reading Enid Blyton, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and later Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Chekov, C.S.Lewis and many more. Her favourite book to date is ‘The Great Gatsby’ by F.Scott Fitzgerald.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and also an Early Childhood Care and Education Diploma. She has over a decade of experience in the early years that has seen her provide curriculum design and teacher training to various schools and individuals across India.
As a mother of two and the director of her own company she doesn’t have much spare time but whenever she does, she is busy writing down her thoughts. Inspired by romance novels, in her younger days, she has written and published two books using a pseudonym.
With the Defender series, she has ventured into a world of contemporary, urban fantasy with the intention of entertaining imaginative minds.
She aims to write and publish a series of children’s books in the near future.
Tanishq currently lives in Mumbai, India with her family.
