Michael J. Krym
About The Author
Born in Caserta, Italy, Michael J. Krym is the son of Polish refugees who immigrated to Canada in the early nineties. Beginning his career as a Literary Author, Michael published three full length novels, The House of Saints (2012), Eidos: A Search for Home (2014), and, Love & Garbage (2016).
Following his publications as a literary writer, he began writing for the stage where Michael went on to win the Western Ontario Drama League's Award of Merit for Playwriting for his original work, Okno (2017). Founding independent theatre company, Tall Tale Theatre Co. they went on to tour two original works across Ontario, A Bad Man's World (2018), and, For the Love of Late Night (2018). Michael's theatre work culminated in the award-winning WWII commemorative play, Imaginary Lines (2019).
Since, Michael has been working as a screenwriter and producer in Canadian film industry. Best known for his multi-award winning screenplay, Zero Anima (2021), and the short film, The Phantom Machine (2021). Michael currently works as a writer and associate producer for Helios Films.
