Started writing his second book, Notes to My Son, in 2012.
David wanted to write these books based on a number hardships he saw his mom going through as a single parent. They weren't easy to navigate, so he decided he wanted to give his children something to help them navigate through life and avoid the mistakes he saw his mom make. He wrote the books based on observing some of her experiences and listening to advice/comments and converstions from some of his friends and other people who had children.
David's sequel, Notes to My Son, which was released in March, 2015, continues to illustrate the themes of the importance of self-love, choice, friendship, and hope.
